UES Parents' Group
News and Announcements

Membership in the Union School Parents' Group (USPG) is open to and encouraged for all adults who are responsible for the caring and nurturing of any UES student . Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in the UES cafeteria.

Scholastic Book Fair The Scholastic Book Fair was a huge success!  Thank you to the many volunteers who helped make it happen, and to the parents, students, friends, and staff who purchased books.  We earned $1,075 in profit for the USPG to support the teachers and students and $480 in free books for classrooms.  We look forward to our next fair in October.

USPG and Shaw's Please remember to save your Shaw's receipts!  We will ship off our first batch at the beginning of June, and hope to earn several hundred dollars.  We can use receipts from any Shaw's, and from families, friends, and neighbors.  Send your receipts to school with your child --- we'll collect them in a box in the office.  The USPG is looking for someone to be in charge of this project (about 10 hours over the course of a year) and for assistance tallying the receipts (1 hour a couple times a year).  Do you like to help out from home?  Are you looking to volunteer but can't come in during school hours?  Let us know!
